Kielder Forest, a silent walk.

DSC_3015-9

When it comes to bank holidays week-end I love to spend time outside, relaxing the mind and stay away from the stress. The best way to do this is to be in direct contact with the nature, listening carefully to every single sounds, appreciating what’s around, making contacts with it and just enjoying the present moment, in silence.

Last Sunday afternoon me and my partner decided to explore the Northumberland National Park (UK) on foot. We choose the trail called The Duchess, where the Duchess of Northumberland used to take her pony.

The atmosphere in the forest was kind of mystical and unique. We were completely alone all the way through, in peace. I had the chance to capture magic moments like the first picture of this gallery, but also sad and creepy objects, like the image of a fallen tree.
