It is always difficult to start a presentation and make the good impression since the beginning, especially if you are about to write your first blog post. I am not a big fun of self introduction either but I tried to put some effort and here who I am in a few words:
I am… proudly Italian! (from Rome)
I live… in Newcastle (UK)
I work… with videogames
I love… a Northern Irish guy
I hate…who interrupt
I have… a PS4, a Nikon and pecorino cheese
I play… first-person adventure games
I miss… sunshine
I want… a doggo
I will… learn how to make sushi!
Why a blog? My first blog was called TheMindReader and I opened it when I was 17. As a standard teenager girl, I used to write about love most of the time. Some year after I abandoned it and I found new hobbies such us Photography. I had the inspiration to open a new blog during a LinkedIn course about Content Marketing. The brilliant lecturer explained a fundamental concept behind the success of a social media campaign: “To create content start with a Blog“.
Now, the aim of this space is not to succeed. I want to come here, whenever I want during the day, and use it as a gym where I can train and play with my strenghts: Videogames, Photography and Food. Most of all, I want to have something of mine where I can have fun, where I can be free to create and share knowledge. The challenge is: “How to write good articles if your Achilles heel is writing?” The answer is simple, but not intuitive. I am going to communicate with images rather than words.
In this direction, I would like to ask you a question: how many of you, in front of a website news, prefer to go through all the 1000 words? Or would you rather relax, see an image or watch a video? Write your opinion in the comments below and let’s discuss!
PS: Before you leave check out my first 3 articles! I would love to hear your feedback 🙂
